My Story

I am Liz, Clinical Lead and Nurse Specialist in the community palliative care team at Dorothy House Hospice.

My incredible  colleagues  and I are so excited to be doing this Skydive on 21st September in Salisbury.   I have personally covered the cost of my jump, ensuring every penny you contribute goes directly to Dorothy House Hospice.

Your generous support will fund essential care, providing comfort and compassion to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses. 

 Dorothy House Nurse Squad are making this leap together because we want to provide outstanding palliative care in our community, turning adrenaline into assistance, and creating a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.

I am happy to come in person to your local groups whatever they are…  book clubs, social clubs,  WI meetings, breakfast clubs, arts clubs, sewing clubs, schools or workplaces to tell you about the work we do. Just ask me and I will be delighted to come and talk to you!

 I am so passionate to spread to word!  Dorothy House hospice covers over 700 square miles and all of our care delivered to patients, their families and carers is free of charge. We are only roughly 20% NHS funded, that means for every £1 we get from the NHS we have to raise a further £4 in fundraising.
