My Story

I worked at Dorothy House as a Specialist Palliative Care Nurse for 19 years and left just under 3 years ago. When my friend (and colleague) Liz suggested I do a sky dive for the hospice and I mentioned it to my 16 year old son Joseph....he got very excited at the thought....so we are now both jumping 10,000 feet out of a plane in September!! Looking forward to sharing an exhilarating experience with my lovely son!!

We are funding our own jumps so any money raised would go directly to the hospice and the team. If you feel able to contribute any amount, however small to either one of us (he has his own page), it will go towards supporting a wonderful team of people doing an amazing job. We are encouraging and helping Joseph to raise money so the plan is that our contribution will be a combined effort.

Dorothy House is holding a Skydive Day at Go Skydive in Salisbury on Saturday 21 September. The charity has 20 spaces in this epic day and adventurous participants can choose between jumping from 10,000 feet or 15,000 feet!
