For Danny: Men's Walk to Support 2025
Jack Harris
My Story
My Father-in-Law, Danny Jones, was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer in May 2024 having lived an extremely healthy and active life. He died on 7th June 2024. Thanks to Dorothy House Hospice, Danny was able to spend the last precious weeks of his life with us at home, supported overnight by their incredible nursing team. Danny then received expert, attentive, and compassionate round-the-clock care at Dorothy House Hospice for his final days of life.
They continue to support us as a family in our grief.
It costs £52,000 each day to run the irreplaceable services Dorothy House offers. Only 20% of that funding comes from the NHS.
I am taking on the Men's Walk to Support 2025 in Danny's memory to help raise vital funds for Dorothy House Hospice. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page, and please donate whatever you can!
